Storage and analytics

Essential cookies keep you signed in. Browser storage saves your shopping list, sync progress, account/family context, theme, and privacy choice. The service worker caches app resources so a previously opened list can work offline.

Optional PostHog analytics are disabled until you choose Allow analytics. They measure actions such as adding an item or opening a feature, without item names or screen recordings. Declining analytics does not prevent you from using Shops.

Clearing site data can remove unsynced shopping-list changes. Sign out on shared devices and allow pending changes to sync before clearing storage.
